उत्तर प्रदेश के शाहजहाँपुर में एक स्कूल के प्रधानाध्यापक को कक्षा 4 और 5 की छात्राओं द्वारा अनुचित व्यवहार और उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाने के बाद निलंबित कर दिया गया। इसके अलावा, पुलिस ने शिक्षक के खिलाफ भी मामला दर्ज किया, जिसे बाद में हिरासत में ले लिया गया। शाहजहांपुर के एक प्राइमरी स्कूल के हेडमास्टर आसिफ जमाल पर पांच छात्राओं ने अश्लील हरकत और छेड़छाड़ का आरोप लगाया है। उनके माता-पिता के अनुसार, संपर्क करने पर शिक्षक ने अपने व्यवहार के लिए माफ़ी मांगी थी। हालांकि, बाद में भी उन्होंने छात्राओं के प्रति वही व्यवहार जारी रखा।
पुलिस के मुताबिक, छात्रों ने स्कूल की एक महिला टीचर को इसकी जानकारी दी थी, लेकिन उन्होंने उनकी मदद करने के बजाय उन्हें चुप रहने के लिए कहा।
हेडमास्टर के व्यवहार से परेशान होकर छात्राओं के माता-पिता ने 13 अक्टूबर को प्रिंसिपल को इसकी जानकारी दी। इसके बाद बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी ने आसिफ जमाल को निलंबित कर दिया और उसके खिलाफ पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई गई।
शाहजहाँपुर के बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी रणवीर सिंह ने कहा, “जैसे ही मामला मेरे संज्ञान में आया, मैं स्कूल पहुंचा और छात्राओं और उनके माता-पिता से बात की। संबंधित शिक्षक को तुरंत निलंबित कर दिया गया।”
पुलिस के मुताबिक मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है और आसिफ जमाल से पूछताछ की जा रही है।
