Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh and Penam Laboratories Ltd. will now work for the training and placement of students. This MoU will cater the recent industrial needs of the students for bridging the gap between industry and academia to fulfill the objective of B.Voc. Biomedical Sciences program in the University. In today’s scenario, students are facing problem, as they are not acquainted with industrial environment. This MoU will strengthen their skills by providing hands-on-training & internship at Penam Laboratories Ltd., Dharuhera. Penam Laboratories Ltd. is a reputed and leading API manufacturer pharmaceutical industry with state of art facilities for providing advanced training to the students in the various fields of biopharmaceuticals.
The MoU was signed by the Prof. Sarika Sharma, Registrar, CUH while Mr. Vikas Pandey, Director-Operations signed on behalf of Penam Laboratories Ltd. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Haryana said that the objective of this MoU is to provide students direct exposure of the functioning of the industry. He said that our students would be able to enrich their knowledge and industrial skills to fulfill recent industrial requirements. Under this effort, the way will be paved, students of B.Voc Biomedical Sciences will move a step ahead to get industrial exposure. Prof. Sarika Sharma, Registrar; Prof. Dinesh Kumar, Dean Academics, Prof. Pawan K. Maurya Coordinator, Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development, & Dr. Vikas Saini, Coordinator, B.Voc Biomedical Sciences, were also present on the occasion of this partnership, which took place for signing this MoU.
