Classbuk.com’s founding family conducts a live interactive online class from approximately 5,364 metres above sea level, demonstrating that technology-enabled education can transcend geographical boundaries

Classbuk, a global live online education platform, created a new world record by successfully conducting a live interactive online class from Everest Base Camp (EBC), Nepal, at an approximate altitude of 5,364 metres (17,598 feet) above sea level.
The achievement has been officially recognized by the World Book of Records, London, marking a significant milestone for technology-enabled education and highlighting how digital learning can overcome even the most challenging geographical barriers.
The record-breaking session was conducted on 25 May 2026 by Classbuk founders Amit and Seema Goel, together with their daughters Shagun and Akshara Goel, during their trek to Everest Base Camp. Shagun scored 99.25% in her Grade 12 and was All India Rank of 3 and now pursuing MBBS in the prestigious KEM Medical College Mumbai.

Teachers,students and parents from different countries participated in a live, two-way interactive session conducted directly from Everest Base Camp. The class covered practical guidance and experiences from the Everest Base Camp trek, along with an introductory discussion on Artificial Intelligence and the ethical use of AI.
