New Delhi: The BJP’s east Delhi MP started fourth Jan rasoi which was today inaugurated by party national general secretary and MP Dushyant Gautam and state organisational general secretary Shri Siddharthan. Cultural programme was organised on the occasion and corona warriors doctors and nurses were also felicitated. Present at the programme were state media head of the party Naveen Kumar Jindal, MLA and chief spokesperson Abhay Verma, Mayor Shyam Sunder Agarwal, district president Ram Kishore Sharma, district general secretary Anil Sharma, Yashpal kaintura, Deepak Gaba besides others.
Dushyant Gautam, inaugurating the programme by serving food to 11 girls, said the party has appropriately realised the vision of prime minister Narendra Modi of koi bhukha na soye whether it was during corona pandemic or the situation arising thereafter. The party has helped all needy and poor. He praised Gautam Gambhir for doing what Kejriwal government should be doing. Making food available for just rs one shows Gambhir has kept up the party motto of Jan sewa high. This initiative is based on Modi’s vision of koi bhukha na soye, he added.
Gautam Gambhir said this rasoi is dedicated to Shri Modi as on his birthday we had resolved to ensure even last man in the row gets chance to rise and prosper and is able to eat with dignity. He said through this rasoi about 500 people would be able to eat daily. Our workers would do this work with dedication, he said.
The east Delhi MP while taking a dig at Kejriwal, said many people talk about enhancing the respect for freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, but I would like to tell them such people don’t make little children stand in the sun at red light crossings with the hoardings of their pictures in their hands. It’s shame instead of having laptops in their hands they have been made easy political tool by such people, he said adding Is this the way we will fight pollution?
