Efficient leadership and collective efforts are essential for the accomplishment of any task. It is the means by which excellence can be achieved. Whether it is engineering or any other related field of education, quality results can be achieved with efficient leadership and collective efforts in all. This view was shared by the Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, while addressing the inaugural session of Online ATAL FDP organized by School of Engineering and Technology. On this occasion, Member Secretary, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Prof. Rajive Kumar was present as the chief guest. This programme organized by the University’s School of Engineering and Technology under AICTE Training and Learning Academy (ATAL).
Convener of the program Dr. Ajay Kumar Bansal presented the welcome address. Convener of the program, Dr. Vikas Garg presented the introduction of the Vice Chancellor. The Vice Chancellor apprised about the importance of leadership ability and collective efforts and said that we have a direct example of success achieved through both these qualities in the Corona period. He said that the collective efforts made by all the countrymen under the leadership of the Prime Minister to deal with the global pandemic Corona are remarkable. India is the largest country in the world to do vaccination. Referring to the new National Education Policy in his address, he described the topic set for this event as important and said that in today’s time such training programs are very useful for quality technical education. The Vice Chancellor also made a special mention of the ATAL effort of AICTE and said that the ongoing training for quality education through this effort is very important.
Chief guest in the program Prof. Rajive Kumar described the theme of Leadership and Teamwork for Education Excellence set by the University as very meaningful in the present times. He said that AICTE through its efforts is constantly striving for innovation, research, technical training and development of skilled labor force for present and future in collaboration with industry on the technical education front. He described the role of teachers important in these efforts. At the end of the program, the Dean of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Dubey presented the vote of thanks. On this occasion, Deans of various schools, Head of the Departments, Teachers In-charge, Teachers, Officers, Staff of the University and participants from various institutions were present through online mode.
