KUTCH, Gujarat, 30 October 2026. As travellers begin booking for Rann Utsav 2026–27, which runs from 1 November 2026 to 7 March 2027, Namak Resort, a 21-tent boutique resort near Dhordo, is setting out its tariffs in the simplest possible terms: one price per tent, per night, for two people, with GST shown separately.
Searches for the cost of a tent in the Rann of Kutch often turn up package prices quoted per person, which makes it hard to compare stays like for like. Namak quotes per tent. Two guests share one tent at one rate, and meals are included.
Tariffs for the 2026–27 season:
– Premium Tent, 392 sq ft (ten tents): Rs 8,500 + GST per tent per night for two guests, including breakfast, hi-tea, dinner and the evening cultural programme.
– Super Premium Tent, 520 sq ft (ten tents): Rs 10,500 + GST per tent per night for two guests, with the same inclusions.
– Darbari Suite, 1,200 sq ft (one suite): Rs 28,000 + GST per night for two, including all meals, pickup and drop-off, sightseeing and priority check-in.
– Extra person: Rs 2,500 + GST per night in the tents and Rs 6,000 + GST in the Darbari Suite.
Full-moon nights and the festive week carry a seasonal supplement, marked on the resort’s season rates page (https://namakrannofkutch.com/rates). A plain-language explainer on Rann of Kutch tent prices for two (https://namakrannofkutch.com/rann-of-kutch-tent-price) compares per-tent and per-person pricing.
“A family or couple should know what they will pay before they pick up the phone,” said the Namak team. “One price covers your tent, your meals and an evening of Kutchi music. That leaves the day free for the salt flats and the craft villages.”
The resort sits close to the White Rann and Dhordo, which UN Tourism named one of the Best Tourism Villages in 2023. Guests head out for sunrise and sunset on the salt, drives along the Road to Heaven, and visits to the Banni craft villages. Inside, patterned canvas, dark timber and warm textiles reflect Kutch’s craft traditions. More on the tents is at Namak’s Dhordo tents page (https://namakrannofkutch.com/dhordo-tents).
